Sitting on the northern bank of the river Thames, Westminster is steeped in history and tradition. It’s a busy and lively area attracting more visitors than any other part of the capital. This is no surprise considering it is home to many of London’s top attractions and has an abundance of bars, pubs and restaurants. Although Big Ben and the captivating Houses of Parliament dominate Westminster’s skyline, there are a plethora of other sights to take in including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, London Eye and Downing Street. And with the nearest underground station (Westminster) just across the road from the Houses of Parliament, you won’t have far to walk until you’re in the heart of the action.
