A district within central London, Walworth is most famously known for being the birthplace of Charlie Chaplin and Michael Caine! The area is currently undergoing a large amount of gentrification which is giving it a much-needed facelift and bringing it out of its prolonged state of hibernation. This is resulting in many new bars, restaurants and boutique shops popping up most of which are along the main drag, Walworth Road. If you want to branch out a little further, there are several museums to explore within a 20 minute walk which include the Imperial War Museum, Cinema Museum and the Fashion and Textile Museum. If you head to the top of Walworth Road you will have access to the Northern and Bakerloo lines enabling you to explore even further.
