Palmers Green is a leafy residential area in north London. It is home to the largest Cypriot community outside of Cyprus bringing a distinctive Mediterranean flavour to the neighbourhood. Aside from Green Lanes, there are also three major shopping centres within 15 minutes of the area that also offer an abundance of shops and restaurants. Another advantage of staying here is its good transport links into central London. The nearest tube station is a short distance away in Southgate and the journey time to the city centre is about 35 minutes. Palmers Green does have its own over ground station which takes you to Moorgate.
