Highbury, a busy north London district, provides the ideal base for visitors seeking an exciting break in the capital. The area is bursting with cafes, restaurants, theatres and art galleries but surprisingly has a tranquil feel to it. It's the perfect release for those who want to be close, but not right in the middle, of the action. It must be said that this corner of London has a lot more to offer then just football (though a trip to the Emirates Stadium and Museum is a must too!). Most notably it's green spaces. The 29-acre Highbury Fields is a beautiful common overlooked by stately Victorian and Georgian townhouses. If you would like to pass some time shopping, head to Upper Street for plenty of boutiques and high-end chains. The area also has an abundance of hotels and BnB's, some of which you can view below.
