Sitting on the edge of the green belt in north London, Enfield is one of the capitals largest boroughs. A densely populated region, it probably comes as a surprise that two thirds of the borough is in fact made up of open spaces with a wealth of urban and country parks, fields and farmland. Despite this there are still plenty for visitors to do here including seven bustling shopping areas, 900 hectares of parks and numerous cinemas, theatres and museums. The culturally diverse mix of residents means that there is also an abundance of restaurants offering cuisines from around the world. Enfield also offers excellent transport links to the rest of the capital. While on the lush, green perimeter of London, it offers quick and easy train journeys to the City and West End on both its over ground and underground services.
