Clerkenwell is a central London district not far from the West End and the City of London. With its narrow streets, cobbled alleyways and many parks and gardens, it’s a part of the capital that is pretty, historic and creative. Filled with Michelin starred restaurants, art galleries, street food markets and historic pubs, there really is so much to see and do here. It also has many cultural offerings in the form of the nearby Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London’s flagship venue for contemporary dance, and the Charles Dickens Museum. As previously mentioned, the sights and sounds of the West End are not too far away and are easily accessible via the two nearest underground stations, Farringdon and Barbican.
