Canary Wharf is one of the main financial centres of the UK and contains many of Europe's tallest buildings creating a magnificent skyline. However, it's not all suits and skyscrapers and the area has much more to offer making it well worth a visit. Home to over 300 shops, cafe's, bars, restaurants, cinema and London's biggest roof top gardens, you'll be spoilt for choice for ways to fill up your day. You have probably been fooled into thinking that the entire area is made up of steel, glass and concrete, but green spaces do indeed flourish among those skyscrapers! There is Jubilee Park, Canada Square Park and Madchute Park and Farm which comprises of 32 acres of luscious countryside and is home to more than 100 animals! When you have finished perusing the five (yes five!) shopping malls, enjoying the fine dining and wandering the open spaces, why not visit one of the main local attractions, the Museum of London Docklands. The museum gives an insight into the area as a port and the history of the East End. If you find you need overnight accommodation, then look no further as we have some excellent hotels and BnB's nearby.
