The Playhouse Theatre is located in a vibrant area of London known for its stunning river views and stunning architecture. Situated very close to Embankment, which is also the nearest tube station, means there are excellent sights of the Thames and London’s skyline is less than a minutes’ walk away. The theatre is housed in a Victorian-style building and is one of the oldest theatres in the capital. The Playhouse opened in 1882 and since then it has hosted some truly spectacular shows such as Footloose, Dreamboats and Petticoats and The Rocky Horror Show.
