Looking for hotels near the Phoenix Theatre?

Opening in 1930, the Phoenix Theatre is one of the most beautiful theatres in the West End. Tucked discreetly into Charing Cross Road, it appears restrained on the outside but is old-school fun on the inside! Its 1,012-seat auditorium respects the tradition of Italian theatres with golden engraves, red seats, carpet and curtains. Many star actors have appeared at the venue over the years including the likes of Maggie Smith, Dustin Hoffman and Stephen Fry. It has probably become best known for its production of Blood Brothers which ran for an impressive 21 years and is the theatres longest-running show. Its location is as impressive as its décor with Tottenham Court Road tube station just three minutes away and Leicester Square and Covent Garden five minutes away. You will have an abundance of pubs, bars and restaurants at your fingertips. The area is also rich in museums and galleries so why not immerse yourself in a bit of culture before or after the show!
