Located in the London borough of Richmond upon Thames, the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew are visited by people from all over the globe. Since it was founded in 1759, it has grown into a global leader in plant and fungal science. This vast World Heritage site contains 326 acres of stunning natural beauty, with over 40,000 species of plant life and 9,000 trees. There are several different houses and conservatories that provide the appropriate climate for the flora within, and you’ll see fungi, roses, orchids, junipers, aquatic plants and much more.
