Kings Cross is an inner city district divided between the Boroughs of Camden and Islington. The area is most commonly known for the Kings Cross Railway Station which provides access into London from the North and also for the Eurostar which has connected London with Paris and Brussels since 2007 from Kings Cross - St Pancras International.
Kings Cross is also part of the fashion circuit with designers such as Paul Smith, Erdem and Vivienne Westwood bringing their catwalk shows to various locations throughout the Kings Cross Site during London Fashion Weeks.
Housed in a Victorian ice warehouse on the Regent's Canal, the London Canal Museum opened in Kings Cross canals. Also situated on the Regents Canal is the Camley Street Natural Park which is an education centre and sanctuary for wildlife run by the London Wildlife Trust and in May 2004 the second Gagosian Gallery to open in London opened on Britannia Street. The gallery, the largest of its kind in London features large sculptures and paintings.
