Blackfriars is a centrally located neighbourhood where Wren churches and futuristic office buildings happily coexist. Adjacent to the City of London, this part of the capital has so much to offer its visitors with its abundance of history, entertainment and sights. Here you can immerse yourself in the areas past by visiting one of its churches, the Museum of London or the not to be missed St Paul’s Cathedral where you can book a guided tour. For your entertainment at the arts interests, the Bankside Gallery and the Tate Modern are both within a 10-minute walk, while the iconic Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is just across the Thames. Moving on to the sights, there are plenty of those nearby if you don’t mind a stroll along the river.
