The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane is a West End theatre in Covent Garden. With origins dating back to 1663, it is the oldest theatre site still in use in London today and probably the most famous. The venue has been home to many popular shows in its long history, from brand new plays to ground-breaking musicals attracting members of the royal family on many occasions.
