Looking for hotels near Royal Court Theatre?

The Royal Court Theatre is a non-commercial theatre on Sloane Square. Founded in 1956, it is dedicated to new work by innovative writers from the UK and around the world. Out of its iconic London building it provides a home for pioneering writer-led ideas, producing a minimum of 12 productions a year, enabling its work to reach the widest possible audiences. Although sometimes controversial and always unmissable, it’s safe to say the Royal Court’s cutting-edge programme leads the way for world theatre. Its performances take place in two separate auditoriums – The Jerwood Theatre Downstairs, seating over 350 people over three levels, and The Jerwood Theatre Upstairs, a more intimate studio space seating a little over 80 people. The venue is perfectly placed adjacent to Sloane Square Underground Station and is surrounded by many bars and restaurants.
