The Bloomsbury Theatre, which opened its doors in 1968, offers a professional programme of innovative music, drama, comedy and dance all year round. With its relaxed atmosphere and stunning auditorium, the theatre has gained an excellent reputation in several fields over its lifetime, one of which being stand-up comedy. Names such As Ricky Gervais and Eddie Izzard have graced its stage. It is, however, somewhat smaller than the theatres you might find in London’s West End, but this doesn’t stop it from show-casing many blockbuster shows year after year.
