Croydon, located in south London, is practically a city in its own right with a large shopping district, art complexes and several live music venues. Restaurants, bars and things to do are also plentiful here with a vibrant atmosphere both during the day and at night. Surprisingly, given its urban appearance, Croydon also has no less than 120 parks and open spaces giving this inner-city town a country feel.
